Sales - Senator ZS100T Air Compressor

Natalie Weatherall from AirPlant Services sold two Senator ZS100TS. One to Shellharbour City Motors and the other to Mercedes-Benz Wollongong.

The ZST Series from Senator comprises a range of rotary screw air compressor sets that are fully integrated, tank-mounted packages supplied ready for use.

Each model has been developed using innovative European design concepts to achieve a compact layout, but with upgraded heavy-duty components to satisfy the demands of Australian operating conditions.

Ideally suited for small-to-medium industrial applications with continuous compressed air demand, the Senator ZST Series sets a new affordability benchmark without sacrificing performance, quality or reliability.

Installation - White Prince Mushrooms

AirPlant Services was contacted by Eduardo, Production Manager, White Prince Mushrooms, with a problem regarding water in his airline. Aaron Redmond went out to the site and inspected his current installation.

It was determined that a FS FR020A Compressed air dryer, FS T15P Fusheng Pre Filtert, Post filters and a 300L receiver was required to reduce the amount of water passing through the air lines, and two SMC AF4006D 3/4 Modular Air Filter with auto drain needed to be replaced.

On Thursday 5th December the receiver, filters, air dryer unit and the modular air filters were installed by our installation technician Luke Jones.

Eduardo was happy with the fast and friendly service provided by Luke and the AirPlant team.

Atlas Open Day 19th-20th November 2013

Altas Copco Open day Seven Hills Sydney NSW Tuesday 19th to Wednesday 20th of November.

Atlas Copco are holding open days all around Australia with Sydney holding the first on the 19th/20th November 2013. An open invitation was extended to customers giving them the opportunity to participate in product demonstrations and gather information on the following product range.

  1. Concrete trowel Safety
  2. Concrete vibration ergonomics
  3. Low hand / arm vibration compaction
  4. Low hand / arm vibration demolition tool methods
  5. Hand held hydraulics, a more efficient way

Concrete trowel safety and Concrete vibration ergonomics was demonstrated by Atlas Copco’s product line manager for concrete equipment Philippe Livernette.

Philippe Demonstrated both the BG370 petrol concrete trowel and the Atlas Copco AX48E smart poker outlining the benefits of both machines against competitors’ models.

Low hand / arm vibration was demonstrated by Atlas Copco’s Concrete and Compaction manager Bill Taylor. Bill demonstrated both the Atlas LF80 Vibro Reduced plate compactor and the LT6004 Rammer.

The Atlas Copco LF80 Vibro Reduced plate compactor is not only an asphalt plate, it can also be used as a soil compactor just by removing the water tank. The LT6004 Rammer uses a patented fuel tank design which prevents the motor from being flooded due to lying down during transport.

Customers where given the opportunity to operate the equipment in a designated testing area.

Low hand / arm vibration demolition tool methods were demonstrated by Atlas Copco’s Business Manager Glen Illingworth. Glenn explained the benefits of the atlas copco Tex Breaker range of Vibration Reduced handles and also the Cobra Pro Spring leaf design.

Peter LoCasio (Area Manager) provided a visual demonstration of the TEX Breaker range on a sandstone block. Customers were also given the opportunity to operate a TEX12 PE ergonomic breaker to experience the low vibrations of the tool.

Hand held hydraulics, a more efficient way was demonstrated by Aaron Redmond from AirPlant Services (Southern NSW Dealer). Aaron explained the range of power packs, tools and benefits of the machines against pneumatic tools. A LPD post driver and LPP10 HD post puller was demonstrated and customers were asked to try these units out.

Sale - Air Prep Stand

The AirPlant Services Air Preperation stand is made from a steel frame and can be painted to any colour the customer requests.

The filter regulator/oiler helps regulate the air pressure to the tool, filters out water and then lubricates.

The Air preparation Stand is suitable to go underground.

The new Tex 12PE vibro-reduced pick hammers stand out wih their modern design. The new look comes together with a new way to reduce vibrations. The cylinder and other parts of the impact mechanism are enclosed in a vibro-reducing housing. Thanks to the gripping surfaces and the two handles, operators can easily find the best working position. The front handle is fully indexable and can be removed if necessary.

Turmag-F-IV-H-T4)-legRecently Douglas Mason conducted a demonstration of a Turmag FIV (H-T4) Hand Held Drilling Machine at BHP Billiton.

The Demonstration was a succes and the customer ended up purchasing three machines.

The low self-weight and the infinitely variable rotational speed provides for very good handling.

Either as a handheld drilling machine F IV (H-T4) or in combination with the telescopic jack leg as a variant, termed F IV-S (H-T4-AL), the machines are used with different drilling tools in mining. A wide range of accessories enlarges the spectrum of applications.
